The Strike Shadow SV2 is the top-spec model in the lineup — and the difference between this and the 60V SX isn't just more power. The FastAce suspension front and rear is a different category of component. FastAce is a respected suspension brand in the mid-range motocross market, and having it on both ends transforms how this bike handles whoops, choppy braking bumps, and off-camber sections that the standard hydraulic forks on the SX will chatter through. Add a 72V 100A controller, 7,000W peak motor, and a Samsung 72V 25Ah battery, and this is the closest thing to a real gas dirt bike feel you'll find in an electric at this price. The 60V SX comes with standard hydraulic forks and a hydraulic rear shock — adequate for casual riding. The SV2's FastAce suspension on both ends is a genuine step up in damping quality, oil circuit design, and consistency under repeated hits. On flat sandy terrain around Houston it's a nice upgrade. On anything technical — whoops, roots, loose shale, hard-pack with braking bumps — it's a noticeable difference in control and confidence. FastAce units are also more serviceable and rebuildable than budget hydraulic forks, which matters for long-term ownership. This single component justifies most of the price premium over the 60V SX.
Every Upgrade on the 72V SV2
Same platform, same wheel sizes — these are the components that actually changed.
Replaces the standard hydraulic fork with FastAce's purpose-built motocross fork. Better damping consistency, longer travel, improved rebound control. The difference is most noticeable in repeated hits — where standard forks pack down, FastAce recovers.
The rear FastAce shock absorber replaces the standard hydraulic unit. Improved small-bump sensitivity and mid-stroke support — especially noticeable in whoops and when cornering on loose terrain. More consistent damping across the full stroke vs the 60V rear.
The 60V uses a 70A controller. The SV2's 100A controller allows the motor to draw more current — the practical result is sharper throttle response, stronger acceleration out of corners, and less hesitation at partial throttle. A meaningful difference under hard riding.
The SV2 uses a Samsung cell 72V 25Ah pack (1,800Wh). Samsung cells are a known-quality chemistry — consistent discharge curve, good thermal behavior under sustained load. The battery sustains the higher power demands of the 7,000W motor better than unbranded cells would at this voltage.
40% more peak power over the 60V SX. In real riding terms that means stronger pull from low speed, harder acceleration in mid-range, and a higher sustained top speed of 48–53 mph. On open terrain the difference vs the SX is significant — especially for heavier riders or anyone running with an aggressive throttle hand.
Upgraded G518 display shows speed, battery, mode, and trip data clearly. The SV2 also gets 1" more ground clearance (11" vs ~10" on the SX) — small but useful on rocky or rooted terrain around the Houston area.
