The ETM RTR XL is the largest, longest, and fastest big-wheel pit bike Electro & Co has built — and it's not a stretched version of the Sport with bigger tires bolted on. Every dimension was engineered together: extended swingarm, extended forks, extended rear tail, and taller bars all work as a system to keep the geometry correct at size. The result is a bike that feels planted at 65+ mph rather than nervous. Running the same Alpha powertrain at 72V with the E&C Revolver IPM motor, it puts out 16,000W of peak power — double the RTR Sport — fed by a 72V 35Ah hot-swappable battery (2,520Wh). It bridges the gap between compact pit bike agility and full-size dirt bike stability without giving up either. Available now at our Southeast Houston showroom.

What Makes It XL

Six Things That Separate the RTR XL From Every Other Pit Bike

Bigger wheels and more power are the headlines — but the XL's real advantage is that the geometry was redesigned to match, not just stretched.

šŸ›ž
17" / 14" Big-Wheel Setup

The XL's 17" front and 14" rear wheels aren't just larger — the entire platform was redesigned around them. The 46.5" wheelbase (vs 44.5" on the Sport) gives those wheels the room to work correctly, delivering the straight-line tracking and high-speed stability that smaller-wheeled compact bikes simply can't match once you push past 50 mph.

⚔
16,000W Alpha Powertrain

The XL runs the Alpha powertrain at 72V paired with the E&C Revolver IPM brushless motor — producing 16,000W of peak output, double the RTR Sport's 8,000W. The power delivery is described as explosive on hole shots and strong through the entire mid-range pull, while remaining controllable rather than snatchy. This is not a bike that runs out of power before it runs out of traction.

šŸ”‹
72V 35Ah Hot-Swap Battery

The 72V 35Ah pack (2,520Wh) is 40% more capacity than the RTR Sport's 25Ah battery — which matters at 16,000W where the motor draws harder under load. The same tool-free quick-release seat mechanism allows instant hot-swapping, so a second pack keeps you riding while the first charges. No tools, no waiting.

šŸ”©
48mm Forks + DNM Rear Shock

48mm E&C-tuned front forks matched to an adjustable DNM rear shock give the XL proper suspension spec for its power output and speed range. Around Southeast Texas — where terrain shifts from hard-pack to sand to gravel — having a DNM reservoir shock you can tune to your weight and riding style makes a real difference on longer sessions.

šŸš€
Hole Shot Mode + 2 Power Modes

The XL ships with two selectable power modes plus a dedicated Hole Shot Mode — a launch control setting that delivers maximum low-end torque off the line for gate drops and drag starts. Most electric pit bikes offer power modes or nothing; the RTR XL gives you both everyday rideability and an on-demand launch setting when you need it.

šŸ—ļø
Extended XL Chassis

The RTR XL is purpose-built from the ground up — not a stretched RTR Sport. Extended swingarm with MX axle blocks, extended forks, extended rear tail, and taller bars all work together to maintain correct geometry at the larger scale. The frame uses E&C tubular steel with a rigid swingarm designed to handle the torque loads of the 16,000W drivetrain without flex.

Is This the Right Bike?

Who the ETM RTR XL Is Built For

āœ“ Great Fit
  • Taller or larger-framed adults who feel cramped on compact pit bikes
  • Experienced riders who want 65+ mph from a pit bike platform
  • Riders who want full-size 17"/14" wheel stability at high speed
  • Anyone who wants Hole Shot Mode for gate drops or drag starts
  • Riders stepping up from the RTR Sport who want double the power
  • Trail and track riders around Houston who push their equipment hard
  • Buyers who want the largest battery in the RTR lineup (72V 35Ah)
ā—‹ Consider Other Options
  • Newer or younger riders — 16,000W is a serious amount of power; start on the RTR Sport
  • Riders who want a compact, lightweight machine — the RTR Sport is more nimble in tight spaces
  • Anyone needing street-legal operation — off-road and closed-course only
  • Riders on a tighter budget — the RTR Sport covers 55+ mph at a lower price point
ℹ
RTR Sport or RTR XL? If you're an average-height adult who rides trails and tracks and wants a fast, responsive pit bike — the RTR Sport's 8,000W and 55+ mph is genuinely plenty. The XL earns its extra cost when you specifically want full-size 17"/14" wheel geometry, are a taller rider who wants more room in the cockpit, or you're ready to use 16,000W and 65+ mph on a regular basis. Don't step up just for the spec sheet number — step up when the Sport's wheelbase or wheel size actually limits you.
ā—‹ Off-road and closed-course only. The ETM RTR XL is designed for private land, trails, and off-road use. Not street-legal. Sold for recreational off-road riding only. Water-resistant — not fully waterproof.
