2026 SRPNT X8
2026 SRPNT X8
The SRPNT X8 is a flagship-tier electric dirt bike that competes directly with the Sur-Ron Storm Bee and Talaria XXX — at a significantly lower price. This isn't a pit-bike-class machine like a Sur-Ron Light Bee or Strike Shadow. The X8 sits on a larger, aggressive full-size platform built around a forged 6061 aluminum frame, an 18,000-watt mid-drive PMSM motor, and a massive 72V 60Ah LG battery that delivers real-world range you don't get from smaller e-motos. Top speed of 70 mph, 65-degree climb capability, 240mm inverted front fork, and KKE rear linkage suspension put this in a different category entirely. Now on the floor at our Southeast Houston showroom.
The X8 isn't a scaled-up pit bike. It's built on the same engineering principles as the Sur-Ron Storm Bee and Talaria XXX — a true mid-drive motor architecture mounted in a forged aluminum frame, with motorcycle geometry instead of bicycle geometry. The 18,000W PMSM mid-drive sits at the swingarm pivot for proper weight distribution, the chassis and swingarm are both forged from 6061 T4 & T6 aircraft-grade aluminum under 3,000 tons of pressure, and the suspension is full-size moto spec — 240mm inverted fork with KKE rear linkage. This is the spec sheet you pay $7,000+ for from the established brands. SRPNT delivers it for under $5,500.
The Components That Set the X8 Apart
This is what separates a real e-moto from a glorified electric bicycle.
The X8's massive 18,000-watt PMSM mid-drive sits at the swingarm pivot — the same position a gas dirt bike's transmission output sprocket lives. Result: proper weight distribution, instant throttle response, and explosive acceleration. Effortlessly conquers climbs up to a 65-degree incline.
A massive 4,320Wh battery pack built with premium LG cells. That's more than 2x the capacity of typical 25-30Ah e-moto packs — real all-day range, sustained power delivery under load, and the thermal headroom to handle Houston heat without throttling.
Chassis and swingarm are forged from 6061 T4 & T6 aircraft-grade aluminum under 3,000 tons of pressure. This isn't welded tube — it's a single forged structure, which delivers industry-leading rigidity, clean aesthetics, and the durability to survive years of hard riding.
Heavy-duty inverted (upside-down) front suspension with 240mm of travel — full motocross spec, not the budget right-side-up forks on cheaper e-motos. Absorbs big hits, recovers cleanly, and stays composed under hard braking into corners.
Real KKE-engineered rear linkage system — a progressive-rate suspension that's plush off the top for small bumps and firms up through the stroke for big hits. The same linkage philosophy used on factory motocross bikes. Predictable, planted, confidence-inspiring.
Advanced PMSM controller with four ride modes — High, Drive, Eco, and Reverse — selectable via the TFT dashboard. Side-stand kill switch built in. Tunable performance for everything from technical trail riding to wide-open track sessions.

Who the SRPNT X8 Is Built For
- Experienced riders ready for 70 mph off-road performance
- Anyone moving up from a Sur-Ron Light Bee, Talaria Sting, or Strike Shadow 72V
- Riders shopping the Sur-Ron Storm Bee or Talaria XXX who want flagship spec for less money
- Real motocross terrain — big jumps, technical climbs, hard-pack tracks
- Houston-area riders running Three Palms, Sam Houston National Forest, or General Sam's all day
- Anyone who wants real-world all-day range from the 60Ah LG pack
- Heavier or taller riders who need full-size motorcycle geometry, not a pit bike
- Buyers who want flagship-tier specs without the established brand premium
- Beginners or first-time riders — 18kW and 70 mph is far too much to manage early on
- Kids — full-size adult motorcycle geometry, not for young riders
- Casual trail riders who don't need flagship power — Strike Shadow 60V or 72V costs much less
- Anyone needing street-legal operation — off-road only
- Buyers under $3,500 — the Strike Shadow lineup fits better at that budget
